Images cannot be edited without Jetpack plugin

@t-p Thanks for your response, but this is of no use to me because I’m talking about the WordPress app and you send a link to a guide on how to edit images via WordPress in Safari/Chrome etc.

This is something that we’re aware of. I’ve gone ahead and added a reference to your forum post to the GitHub issue regarding this. I can’t offer an estimated timeframe, but if you’d like to keep an eye on the development of a fix, you can feel free to follow along on GitHub.

Can someone say when this will be fixed? it is really very irritating. I now constantly have to edit everything via the web version instead of via the WordPress app itself.

@marijnvdgruiter I understand that experiencing frustration and disruption while working in the app can be quite bothersome.

I noticed that you’ve already left a comment on the Github issue, and I’m sure you’re keeping an eye on it. If more people report this issue, I hope the team will consider prioritizing it.
