Images boxes all different sizes¬ displaying correctly

I have Woocommerce installed on the Wootique theme on my store
Currently all the product images display in different sized boxes on all the pages and also cut off the image. I have played around with the settings within Wootique and Woocommerce to correct this but nothing seems to help. I tried a resizing plugin (Imsanity) on a couple of the images to see if it would help since the images were uploaded in various sizes but this didn’t do anything. I have asked a couple of developers for help and they tell me its too hard to fix because of the conflicts between Woocommerce and Wootique.
The images are of dresses and need to display in more than one size. (thumbnail, medium and large depending on the page being viewed)
Currently the images look terrible and I am at my wits end as to how to fix. Much appreciate any advice.
