Images being cut off in Chrome only (2)

I understand the solution as written below. But I would like to use the exisiting photos with their different heights.
It works perfectly in Firefox, but the Chromium browsers cut the lower part of the image.

Is there a way to make the slider work without having to resize the photos myself?
