• Hi all,

I’m fairly new to a lot of this so please don’t hurt me.
I’ve been placed in charge of revamping the website of the company I work for.

the site i’m developing is at:
    https://www.flighttrainingadelaide.com/new

It almost there, but I’m now left with a couple of things I can’t resolve.

    1. The design was laid out to me, including the three main navigations in the header being images. I have it now so on rollover they change.

Can I also have an onclick that can somehow be tied to the menu so the image can stay illuminated while its in that particular section of the site?

    2. I’m trying to find a hack to ensure compatibility with IE5 for the Mac. If anyone out there is a Mac user could you please have a look at this essentially the white of the content page doesn’t flow down to the footer instead only a small box is stuck up near the header.

As always any help is gratefully appreciated ??

  • 1. Would something like this be useful?
    https://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/horizontal06.htm#
It has the basic structure and css.
Possibly other pages there would help – it’s a great site.

    2. Unless your employer has a gun to your head then IE5/Mac is going to be way more trouble than it’s worth. Even Apple and Microsoft have given up.

    Thanks for the reply Podz…

I’ve been arguing with them all week about IE5 for the mac.. might have to take a bigger hammer next time..

I’ll check out the site and see if I can use it.

    Thanks for the advice.
