Images as Form Selections with Creation outcome

  • I did this years (12 – 15)ago using Flash and XML. It has been a while, so I thought I would ask around prior to starting.

    Is there a way, in WordPress, to create something like this muppet creator?

    Using any plugins and whatever else is available to make this an easier build.

    Any thoughts and direction would be helpful.

  • I don’t know of any plugins out there that will do this out-of-the-box, but it’s not that hard to do it yourself if you can get the programming.

    All you need is to track the selections that users make, then set the images out layering them in the right order on the next page. You’d also need to remember the selections for the “Buy Now” part if your site is doing that. It’s not an easy thing, but it’s also pretty easy to do with a little bit of PHP and CSS ‘magic’.

    Thank you for getting back to me with your answer. I thought I would throw the question out there.

    There isn’t a “Buy Now”. More of a submit then the info gets stored for later retrieval.
