Images are not showing up in the post nor in the media library

  • Hi,

    WP was working fine until August 7th. From y’day on, the images I am uploading are not visible, I get a broken image icon in the place of images. This is not limited to posts, I am facing the same issue in the media library as well. infact, even the previous images that I had uploaded (july-Aug 7th) shows broken image icon.

    Even the featured image shows broken icon.

    I am forced to share the image links from third party site. I would appreciate if somebody sort this out for me.

    I had a wordfence scan y’day and the contact form 7 plugin updated y’day..Apart from this, I have not tinkered in the dashboard

  • Seems to be an issue with Photon, the Jetpack module. Try contacting Jetpack support: https://jetpack.com/support/ or posting on its support board.

    Thank You @jacob Peattie, I have contacted Jet Pack support.

    Before knocking on their doors, I tried deactivating the Jet Pack plugin and checked the site. But the problem persisted, are u sure that it is caused by Jetpack and not by any other factors?

    oops, I just remembered, I had removed the Huge IT Gallery plugin after deactivating it, could that be causing the problem? If yes, how should I solve it?
