    Hi there?

I’ve read each and every part of this plugin and have understood how it works.

I set this plugin on my subdomain images.mysite.com but when I went through Media → Add New and upload any image, the image is not getting uploaded in the corresponding subdomain.

    Here is what I did:

    1. I installed the plugin
    2. Specified the subdomain where I want the images to be uploaded instead of wp-content/uploads
    3. Then I went through the Media → Add New but the image is not getting uploaded even the folders (year / month) are being created.

    Thanks.

    hi @ Muhammad Haroon

I’m not sure I understood everything.
You should know that the plugin does not send the images to another server.
The plug-in allows you to assign a different subdomain for images.

For example, I installed WordPress on my https://www.domain.com

then I create a sub https://media.domain.com fields that points to the file upload the primary domain or default https://www.domain.com/wp-content/uploads/
Then the plug-in I record first field: “I leave empty“, second field “https://media.domain.com

Otherwise another solution: I point the subdomain on the same “www” folder of the main domain and I put the following configuration: first field: “wp-content/uploads“second field: “https://media.domain.com

Hi, i am using this plugin successfully on 5 of my wordpress sites. Working great, and many thanks to you (Author of this Plugin)

Finally, i am stuck one my last website and need urgent help from you. All above 5 sites were main TLD https://www.domain.com, and images are hosted on sub domain.

But in this last case, it is sub domain itself https://www.abc.domain.com and i am trying to host images on https://www.cdn2.domain.com. Now the situation is, all earlier images links are changed successfully to sub domain and working. But, i am not able to upload any new images.

In fact even when i go to Add media and upload an image, i get the media url of subdomain (www.cdn2.domain.com/image.jpg) but the image wont appear anywhere on the server.

Here is what i tried so far:
1: Put ‘cdn2’ in first field and https://www.cdn2.domain.com in second field
2: First field left blank and and https://www.cdn2.domain.com in second field
3: tried arranging checked / unchecked uploads into month- and year-based folders.

But no Success in any of them. So, i request you to please help me out of this.

    Hi @maqboolh

Sorry I was on vacation and I did not have the technical resources to assist you.

Thank you for the next time to open a new thread of discussion.

Have you made any progress on your record?

The best way to debbuger and:

    • Send a picture by the upload system and find the path where the image on your server
    • Right click “view image in new tab” on the error image in the media list.

Looking at the tracks, you should easily understand what problem

So you may change the number 1 field to vary your uploads folder.

Thank you for keeping me informed
