Images are not displaying correctly in media library and on site

Hello,

I recently changed servers and the images that were uploaded on the old server are not showing up on the new server.

Here is what I know so far:

1. The images are actually on the new server. I can see them in the uploads folder
2. I can upload new images without a problem.
3. The thumbs that are generated in the admin for the media library are placeholders. They are not the actual image.
4. I can get to any image by going to it’s file url.
5. The images are working in posts and pages but only if they are inserted.

If you look at the source, the gallery is technically pulling the images in since the javascript is recognizing that there are images in the gallery, however, the images just aren’t showing up.
