    Hi there,

When I convert images to web format, I get message that everything is successful. But images are not being converted to web format on browsers when inspecting the page. I checked both safari and chrome using incognito/private.

I have completed all of the tasks required according to FAQ instructions:

    1. No errors on plugin page
    2. Url in the link
    3. https://ibb.co/YPJ8T2z
    4. https://ibb.co/9pY5BvB (I tried both via .htaccess and Pass through – still the same )
    5. https://ibb.co/tmBY8gS
    6. No errors (only errors I had about it was when I did compressed images first time with 85% and these images were delete because they were smaller than originals)
    7. Not sure what plugin filters
    8. Latest (4.2.3)
    9. All plugin are off and using default theme.

    Additional things:
    1. I check all .htaccess were correct and not empty in the following places:
    – /wp-content/.htaccess
    – /wp-content/uploads/.htaccess
    – /wp-content/uploads-webpc/.htaccess

    2. images are being converted to web and can be found in the folder uploads-webpc

    3. Tested without Automatic removal if images are smaller, and still get message that everything is successful but image are not changing in browsers

Lastly, I’m on apache server and using genesis theme, but right now it is switched to default.

    Hello @raits515,

    Thanks for your message.

Did you clear the entire cache for LiteSpeed?

    Best,
    Mateusz

    Hi.

Actually I deleted that plugin before that.

I just now installed it again and cleared cache just to be sure, but still nothing.

@raits515 From what I can see, there are now images in WebP format on your website.

I did a test on a browser that does not support WebP and that supports WebP:

@raits515 Some of the pictures on the home page come from the /themes directory. Select it in plugin settings and convert all images.

The files in the /uploads directory on the home page are working fine. In order to achieve even better conversion results, I encourage you to try the AVIF format. You should gain approximately 30% extra image weight compared to WebP.

Yeah it works now. Thanks a mil! I might give AVIF format a try later.

I just used your plugin on other site and seems like it is just taking some time before these images are starting to convert. I will confirm tomorrow if it just the matter of waiting or if I have to disable all plugins again.

    Best,

    Hey @mateuszgbiorczyk

Yeah, it is the same with other site, some why the images are not being converted. I can try to disable all plugins and theme again, but it is little annoying especially because if it is a live site you know…

@raits515 Have you converted all images on other websites?

Please enter the URLs of these pages – I will investigate.

Yeah, I got it to work. I Needed to contact my hosting company.

    Thanks.
