Images are created multiples times in the upload monthly folder

    Hello,

    I’m retrieving the 9 lasts (same) posts from Instagram, everything is working fine but the wordpress upload folder is constantly filled with images of theses posts again and again resulting in a large amount of space taken after few days.
    If I’m using the purge button of the “settings” section of the script (Delete all Instagram Images from the Media Library), all is erased but it’s starting to act the same again so unless I can set a cronjob to purge every day…
    For the same 9 posts since the purge this morning I’m at 756 files for 100mb in 9 hours.
    WordPress and the plugin are at the last version available
    Can you provide me what file or call I can use to set a purge with a cronjob maybe ?

    It seems that this is an issue happening only to specific installations.

    We’ve updated the plugin and fixed this problem.

    Please update your plugin to the latest version.

    Hello again,

    So after your last update and a WordPress update I still have the same problem. I noticed that the duplicated files are all still in the /2024/01 folder not the february one (2024/02) as we changed month. Not sure what to do next.. after your update and and still having the issue I did a purge but this morning it still adding duplicate pictures of my same 9 instagram posts.

    If you use an image optimization plugin, try deactivating it temporarily and see if the issue continues.

    Otherwise, we can’t replicate this on our end. Please contact us directly on our website and we’ll try to help.

    Hello,

    I’m not using any optimization plugin (I have Yoast, WPML, BackWpup and AIOS), I’m using “Enfold” theme if it helps. I have 2 sites where the problem occurs. I’ll contact you on your website. Thank you
