Images are broken, 403 Forbidden

    This plugin appears to do what I need it to, however, the star images are not appearing (displaying the broken image icon instead). When I right-click and select “view image in new tab” I get a 403 Forbidden error. I have disabled iThemes Security thinking that might be the problem, but it did not solve the problem.

    Hi LaneDenson,

    would you please provide a link so I can have a look at it? In general the status code 403 means that you’ve got no rights to the this resource. You will find more details on this status inside your webservers logfile. If possible plrease provide these logs.

    After I didn’t get any feedback I’ll set this topic to resolved status.

    For others who are facing a similar error please check if there is a .htaccess file in a subfolder of WordPress. It is possible that there are rules inside which block the execution of USRs code. If you deactivate security plugins it doesn’t mean those plugins change setting back. But that really depends on the security plugin.
