Images are being upsized instead of compressed

The problem is happening because WebP format image is larger in some of these cases than the original format image.

You can use this helper plugin in order to stop converting images to WebP if they will be larger than original format.

Unfortunately no, it won’t fix already existing WebP images that are larger ??

If there is a lot of WebP larger than original, what you can do is to delete all of WebP images by following this guide.

Regenerating the good ones again will not take any quota from your subscription so you can do it safely from Imagify settings.
