• Hello
I am running sparkling theme and have an unusual problem with images. I am a newbie to wordpress so hope the solution will not be too “technical”. I created my website in a wordpress folder within my existing websites folder and went live with it by moving the files across last week, after some initial problems involving my host changing my dns, all my pictures disappeared, however I put them all back and all appeared well on the Mac and an android tablet I have. However, many, but not all of the pictures still do not appear on the site when viewed through a windows operating system phone or desktop. Any ideas. Interestingly also, since I reattached all the pictures when I go into one of the pages causing the issue on windows computers in edit mode I can’t see the pictures either, as if they have unlinked again, but if I view page they are there. I have tried deleting all unused plugins and also added plug in software to optimise pictures and caching software in the hope size might have been the issue. This hasn’t helped or made any difference to the problem. I am at a loss.

Reason: I have just tried reattaching the missing images again, and at the moment they appear to be there again both on wordpress edit screen and the windows phone so this may be resolved, but I believe they disappeared after doing this last time

    Hello
Touch wood the images seem to have remained this time on windows as well as Mac, but I am intrigued as to how it is possible they could appear on a mac or android screen despite needing reattaching. Incidentally to reattach all I had to do was click the edit button and then save. The images there in the background in wordpress I didn’t have to go and look for them. I wonder if the reason in some cases could be to do with the fact that in some cases I was using the same image in two different places with different functions i.e. one is a link to the other. However, this doesn’t explain the other pictures where this was never the case.
The website is https://www.thewaterbedman.co.uk. The affected pictures were all the ones on the accessories page and subpages and the bedding pages and subpages. Most of the rest of the pictures on the site were visible on both mac and windows.
