Images and dropdown values not added to custom posts

I have a little problem with this form. I’m using the current versions of this plugin and the custom posts addon.
I previously – a week ago – had a form which would allow users to upload images via a selection of upload fields. These images were then dumped into a custom post type, as expected. I also had 14 dropdown fields which were output into the same custom post.
I’m using advanced custom posts for the custom post types and fields.
Either since I updated the plugin to the latest version or since I added rows to my form (I’m not sure which) the data is collected but not added to my custom fields. Instead, if I go to my edit post page after submission I can see the url of images in the ‘custom fields’ boxes that wordpress adds under the actual post and my custom fields. I can also see the dropdown field values, but the values are no longer being added to my posts.
What might be causing this?
