• I have two websites, both with WordPress 3.4.2, both with Theme Blaskan 2.6.3. Normally I use a Blaskan Child Theme, but right now it’s only the main Theme.

If you visit my main website, https://www.slimgeldverdienen.nl, in Internet Explorer (doesn’t matter which version), some images are scaled to max width (as wide as the available space). So the smilie, the bookcovers and the Social Share buttons are very big. In Firefox, Chrome and Safari, the images are normal.

On the other website, https://www.vandersnee.nl, my testing-website, I also have a post with a smilie. But on this site, the smilie acts normal (15×15 px) in all browsers.

I tried a lot of things, I deleted all themes, re-install, even copied the documents in the theme directories from the testing site to the main site. But the images on the main site remain enormous. And I cannot find out how this can be fixed.

    Who can help me?? Thanks!

The first step to ensure browser compatibility is validating your webpages.

I know it is better to have a website without errors.

Both websites are the same. Same WordPress version, same theme version, same post, same image. But the images act different in IE.

I don’t think this has something to do with the validation errors.
