    I have tried several different themes and can not seem to up load a header image in those that have this option.

    The only thing that I can think of is that it must be a bug. Also I see no way to delete the themes I have tried like the older version.

    I cannot reproduce this on the latest trunk. Try upgrading to the nightly release of WP.
