    well more like a button sized image…..88×33 or even larger like 150×150 but a thumbnail could possibly work if its legible or large enough. Let me guess file away offers thumbnails now…

    File Away has offered thumbnails since before you were using File Away. ??

    i upload a pdf file or word doc with fileup and an image of my choice would be displayed that links to that file….

    No. File Away will generate thumbnails from PDF files, or from png, jpg, or gif images. You can provide your own thumbnails for video file types. But that’s it. And it has to be in a table. Do you want the image to display text? Because you can simply create your own custom theme for lists using the File Away Custom CSS editor (see the tutorial on Custom CSS in the tutorials tab). You can give the anchor element a background image, in your custom theme, and then set the span that contains the filename to have an opacity of 0.
