I think it could seems a stupid thing to say, but I didn’t undestand how image.php template and the attachments permalinks works.

I wrote a page with an image. I’d like to allow comments to that image, only. So, I did a image.php, like default theme. But I don’t know how can I acccess the image’s page. What is the permalink? The codex says it would be /mypost/imagename, but I couldn’t acccess by that way.

I am using the permalink structure “/%author%/%postname%”. I tried to access admin/myspost/imagename, without success.

I have already read Using Image and File Attachments
    and Template Hierarchy.

    Could anyone help me, please?

Ok, this is working fine now.

I went to wp-admin > Media > Library and change the image name/title. It was a numeric name, I changed to an a-z name. So I could access the image template throught domain.com/pagename/imagename
