    Good afternoon,

    i’ve recently installed this plugin.
When i tried adding a widget to my page, the following message appeared on Layout settings:

“The server does not have ImageMagick or GD installed and/or enabled! Any of these libraries are required for WordPress to be able to resize images. Please contact your server administrator to enable this before continuing.”

    I’m using:
    Wordpress 5.7
    Elementor Version 3.1.4
I’m currently working on my website locally using xampp before i migrate it to a live domain.
I’ve tried adding a plugin listed on WordPress Plugins page named “ImageMagick Engine” but it didn’t solve the problem.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance

    Update:

I finally managed to solve this issue. I found my php.ini file located at
    “C:\xampp\php”
    and uncommented
    “extension=gd”
Other plugins that gave me the same error now work fine as well.
For some reason it was commented from the beginning. I’ve worked on other websites locally with xampp, with the same plugins and i never had this issue. Xampp kind of deactivated it itself. Weird!
If others have the same issue on a live domain, unless you have direct access to the php.ini, you should contact the hosting provider to make the change and restart the server.
