Imagebrowser will not advance to next image. Ajax is purposely disabled

I’m using nextgen imagebrowser to display images. I do not want to use Ajax because I would like to page to reload (new pageview) for each image.

When I preview a post, the imagebrowser works correctly. When I publish, the imagebrowser will not advance to the next image when next/back are clicked. here is a sample: https://2010.easyreadernews.com/2010/10/news/photo-gallery-test-photos?pid=1533
