Image works fine but no file on server

  • Hi guys,

    I stumpled upon a little problem when I was migrating our website for development purposes. Some of our newer pictures work fine on the website but there is no image file on our servers where I would expect it to be regarding the url. The URL https://xy.com/pictures/image.jpg shows the image but there is no such file on the server if I look into the /pictures/ folder. With the older pictures it works just fine.

    Is this some new feature or bug? It gets me into trouble when I migrate the website from our server because the images won’t be migrated.

    Are you looking from a device you viewed the site on before it was moved? Could this be a local caching issue?

    Hi Scotty,

    the issue occurs on the original (non migrated) website. I just noticed it, after I migrated the website because those pictures weren’t moved to the new page because they are not in the folder.
