Image Watermark stop working

  • Hi All,

    We’ve got a problem with the watermark system that NextGen provides.

    After setting everything up correctly, the watermark works… But, after a few hours and sometimes day’s, the system only sets the text watermark instead of the image.

    When i go to check the settings, everything seems to be fine. I don’t change any of those settings and just click save.. and WHOPPA, it works again..

    Strange not? Hope you can provide me an answer that gives the solution to this problem.

    Settings Watermark:
    Type: Image
    Posision: Left under
    Image URL: https://www.westerwoldeactueel.nl/westerwolde/img/wwalogo.png

    @laurencemeijer – Generally I would look for some sort of caching problem but I also see you are using WP-Optimize which can cause significant problems for NextGEN Gallery depending on its settings and if/when they are used.

    just disabled the plugin WP-Optimize.. going to try if the problem still exists.

    @laurencemeijer – Disabling the plugin may not be enough as some uses of it will remove necessary database entries that NextGEN Gallery needs to work correctly.

    You may need to change the Watermark image twice … once to something else to “force” a change, then back to the current image to set it correctly again.
