    Hey, @magneto664.

There is a Meta Box there: “Featured Image from URL”. You should paste the image URL there, click on preview button (if the URL is correct, it will be shown) and then click on Publish button.

The plugin uses the custom field “fifu_image_url”.

    That’s all.

If it solves your issue, please consider to give this plugin a 5-star rating.

    Hey, @magneto664.

Are you asking if the plugin will validate the URL?

    Thread Starter magneto664

    (@magneto664)

no, I don’t see any reason to validate url by the plugin. I ask about steps how plugins seek for images

    Hello again, @magneto664.

The plugin doesn’t seek images. You will find the images on the Internet. So you will get the URL of these images. And you will take the URL’s to the plugin.

I don’t know if I could answer you question now…

Hey Cowboy ! don’t be a silly I know this plugin is no seek images over internet I don’t have 4 years. I ask you about how this plugin check where to find images

is looking on custom fields – YES
is looking in images setting over the post page – YES
is looking where – first url pasted in content YES ??

so with place first it is. do you get me?

    (@marceljm)

Actually you want to know where the plugin finds the URL after it’s stored in database.

Custom fields. I informed the custom field name in my first answer.

So don’t be angry with me. Be angry with yourself.

For internal posts the URL comes from meta box. For external posts it comes from the first image. But it always will be stored in the custom field.

    Another question?
