Image URL gets overwritten

  • I’m trying to insert images into my posts that link to an external URL. When I go into the image editor or change the “href” in “HTML” editing mode or in “Visual” editing mode, the URL get changed back to pointing to the local site when I update.

  • I’m not certain but are you an administrator on that wordpress installation?

    If so, try logging out clearing cache then logging back in and seeing if it works out.
