Image Uploads into Gallery Stall

Well, that’s strange! It sounds like this could be a server issue.

As a first step, I’d recommend updating NextGEN Gallery to the latest version (3.11).

Then, provide your site health information. You can find this by going to Dashboard > Tools > Site health > Info. Then, click on Copy site info to clipboard, and share it with us?

Thank you for the response. I updated the NextGEN Gallery plugin to 3.11 and uploaded a new image in less than 4 minutes without any stalls, which is acceptable.

Okay, upon inspecting it, I can see that the time limit for your uploads is 60 seconds (time_limit: 60). That should be the reason why the uploading process may fail sometimes.

Could you please contact your hosting provider so that they can increase that value for you and then test a bulk upload again?

Also, please kindly ask them to increase your maximum image upload and all the values regarding uploading files.

Hi,

I have a WooCommerce store and am using NextGen Gallery 3.12.

I’ve been having the same problem with bulk uploading, starting when the gallery upload page was changed to include images, earlier this year I believe.

I had no problem during the previous five years; I could upload 20 0r 30 images at a time in about 1.5 minutes per picture. Now I get multiple failures and stalling, and may get 1 or 2 images uploaded out of the 20.

I can now only select and upload 1 or 2 images at a time without issue. Uploading time is quick, but it means I have to be constantly at my computer to enter another 2 images.

As suggested I can contact hosting server to increase time, etc. However, before I do, did this resolve abqdanj’s issues?

Any help is appreciated !!
