    I am not able to add images from my computer, to wordpress posts. I get this message afer attempting to select files from my computer:;

    Unable to create directory /mnt/local/home/username/sitename.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Please how do I get around this issue? WordPress 2.7

    Go in your FTP Client and Right click on the mnt than Chmod 777 and make it writeable.
    Do it for wp-content folder too.

    Thank you, I have done it for wp-content folder but where exactly will I find “mnt” please? I don’t see it anywhere and am not familiar with the term.
