image uploading problem

  • When I upload images into the media library, the images with metadata are all renamed by the description in the image metadata. considering they all have the same description, this is a REAL problem. As if it isn’t bad enough we don’t have file folders or any form of organization for image files.

    is there any way around this? Besides stripping the metadata from all my images, that is.

  • This depends on the local program/device that added the meta/exif data fields…they each have a unique identifier, but some vary in their application…

    To test…modify each field in the local file with test1, test2, test3, then upload…discover how they work together…is test 1 “title”, is it “description”?
