    Hi,

I am having a very strange issue that has my mind boggled.

When I upload images, WordPress is creating the thumbnail, medium and large sizes just as it should and placing the in their month folder within the images directory.

My issue is that the original full size image is no where to be found. It would seem the uploader is taking the image, resizing it to the 3 outputs and then deleting the original.

It is producing the same results in both the flash and old form uploaders and permissions have been confirmed as full read/write privileges. (remember the re-sized images are being added).

Installed plugins include but couldn’t confirm any of these are causing the issue at hand:

    • Akismet
    • All in One SEO Pack
    • Category Order
    • Google XML Sitemaps
    • List Authors
    • Page Links To
    • SexyBookmarks
    • Simply Show IDs
    • Smart Youtube
    • WP-PageNavi
    • WP-reCAPTCHA
    • WP Super Cache
    • WP to Twitter
    • Xhanch – My Twitter

Resolved, was an issue with permissions in the php for the temp directory which caused the image itself to have non-read permission when carried over to the final directory.
