Image uploader not uploading

When I try to upload an image to either the webpage background, login background, or logo, clicking on the “Upload” button just gives me a greyed out screen. And I cannot change the text in the textbox above the Upload, Preview, and Remove buttons.
Any ideas? The app sounds awesome, but not if I can’t upload images…
