    I’m new to everything WordPress and Photo-Gallery…

    I tried a small batch of photos (12) to upload into a Gallery and now it seems to be permanently frozen. I have restarted browser, restarted computer…

    Progress “wheel” in Explorer keeps going round and round, no way to break the cycle.

    Anyone have a solution?

    Regards,
    Ben

    @ben,

    Can you please make sure that the images uploaded to Photo Gallery are not too large. This sometimes causes issues based on Server limitations. If it is so remove the images from uploads folder of Photo Gallery using FTP and upload smaller images. If this is not your case please contact our support team at support[at]web-dorado.com mentioning that you have been forwarded from WordPress forum. Thank you.

    Latest version freezing on mine too, and all pics are within limits.

    Can’t add images via media library or upload. Tried one small pic to do another test, and same thing — continuous round and round. Damn, this was a good plugin.

    Thank you Sona.

    Using FTP, I was able to clear the frozen uploader by deleting all images and folders in the photo gallery upload directory.

    The problem happened twice to me and seemed to occur only when using the drag & drop feature. It did not reoccur when I clicked on the “choose files” to select files for upload.

    Cheers.

    @bennyb0,

    Thank you for letting us know, we will check that out. It might be also due to the image dimensions. Thank you.

    I’m also having trouble adding photos from my media library to a gallery that I’ve just created. This is really, really disappointing because I spent a lot of time labeling/editing all these photos for this gallery. This is my first time using this plugin and I had hoped to use it for three websites I currently manage… If I can’t get this to work, I’m going to have to find another photo plugin. Disappointed, because this looked like a really great plugin.

    Ok, an update: I was able to add photos from my media library once I went into OPTIONS and clicked “YES” next to the option “Import from Media Library”. I was very happy to figure out a solution to my problem, but I would like to suggest that the default be turned on to “YES” because most users are going to want to import photos from their media library. This will save users from frustration. Having to go into OPTIONS to change this was NOT intuitive.

    Going to now give this plugin a shot with two of my websites. Thanks!

    @gertruderocks,

    Thank you for your suggestion, we will include it in user wishlist for further voting. If it gets enough votes, we will make the changes. Thank you.
