    Hi there, and thank you.

What does that button (icon) say when you hover over it with your mouse?
    In English, if possible ??

    Sorry for the Russian lang.
I mean files browser in image inser/edit tool.

This screenshot from CKEditor 4.0, but i only ask about your Ultimate TinyMCE plugin (or TinyMCE Advanced). Is there a similar option to upload pictures from the server using a file manager?

    With respect, Paul.

Yes.. I have seen that button before.

Unfortunately.. this is not something I can include in the free version of the plugin here on the WordPress repository.

That tinymce addon uses an outdated version of .swfupload. I had it at one time.. and was flagged because it was a possible security threat.. and had to remove the feature.

Sorry it’s not the answer you are looking for…

However.. if it’s something you really want.. you can include the addon yourself. I can provide you some links which explain how, if you like.

    Sorry Paul,

I’ve been way busy re-coding all my plugins for the new tinymce4 update. It’s been grueling!!

Okay… you know WP is going to be updating the tinymce version from 3 to 4 of the content editor? This is going to ‘break’ many of the plugins and addons out there, which interact with the tinymce editor.

These addons will either need to be re-coded to handle the new interface; or many of them will simply not work on the new version.

So, keep that in mind as you progress. Andrew Ozz, WordPress tinymce guru and core developer, has already implemented the new version in the trunk of WP 3.9. This gives developers a chance to play around with the new trunk on a local install; and test their products before public release of the new WP version.

Finally.. here are some links to get you started:

    1. Tinymce 3rd Party Addons – This is where most all addons not specifically developed by tinymce will first appear.

    2. TinyMCE Responsive File Manager – This cat is really good! It’s an amazing file manager. If you decide to use this; please consider supporting the author via a donation.

    3. SourceForge – Lots of plugins listed here. However, most of them are only applicable for tinymce version 3. Some are great; some are broken; some are in between. So, it’s a matter of trial and error there.

    Hope this all helps.
Please let me know what you end up doing. I’ll be very curious. Plus, it’ll help my future development ideas ??

    Thanks!!

    Hi Paul,

Since this is not really a specific plugin ‘support’ issue; I’m going to mark this topic as resolved.

I’d love to continue our conversation here.. and get you setup with whatever you need. So I’ll still be around ?? Just post back here and we can continue conversing.

    Thanks.
