Image uploaded but cant be seen

  • I use Safari (but have some prob with Firefox) when I upload an image I just see a blue questionmark.
    I see the image when I ftp into the server but it doesnt show up in my posts or the gallery.

    Im a complete newbie (just installed), so please bare with me if ive missed something obvious…

  • First, forget about using Safari. Firefox and Explorer are the ones to proof your work in because they have the most users.

    Next see what kind of extension is on the end of the image – .gif, .jpg or.png should be what is used. Most likely you have put the image in the wrong place or folder.

    Also post a link to the page with an issue so that people can look at it and trouble shoot for you.

    Thanks for your quick response!
    I was using Safari because Im on a mac but Ill change to Firefox:
    (Ignore the weird language on the pictures)
    I choose to upload an image to a blog post, its a *.jpg
    And get this
    I choose open (?ppna in swedish)

    And get this (no image)
    Finally I get back to my media library

    And see this

    Any ideas?
