Image Upload wont work well

  • Hi guys,

    I use t3.5.1 of WordPress.

    When I try to upload a image over the uploader there is NO problem. After the successful upload it only shows a blank space. I also can isnert the “blank space” into the article, but it dont show the image.

    even in the final article the image isn’t shown. Anyone knows what the problem can be?

    Is this a new WordPress installation?

    Would you be able to provide us a little more information about your hosting enviroment? Is this a Linux server? Has image uploading previously worked?

    Hi,

    I already fixed it by myself. Just CHMOD 777 to uploads-DIR solves the problem.

    I solved the problem 2 minutes ago, lol.

    Thank you for updating the thread.

    You shouldn’t really CHMOD directories to 777 if it can be helped this can cause a security risk.

    Best think to do is to ask your hosting provider what setting they recommend.
