Image Upload Problem
-
When I upload images, for example a 435 x 510 image, 3 versions of this image are created in my media files. The medium and small files seem to work correctly, but the large image shows as 435 x 510 in my media library, but it’s actually getting cropped at 188px high, which is the same as the setting in the header area in Weaver II admin. I tried changing the header to something like 600px to see if it made any difference, and it didn’t. The strange thing is that if I insert the large image into my post, it shows as a broken link because the link is looking for the image in my media folder with the name formated as Image1-435×510.jpg, which does not exist because it has actually been named Image1-435×188.jpg. All I can use in my blog posts are small and medium pictures. I even tried activating 2012 theme and saw the same behavior, only it was cropping at 288px because that’s what its header was set to. Is there some sort of setting or switch I’m missing, or is this a bug in WordPress or the themes themselves? Thanks for any help.
