• Hi Folks, just new to this today and Im not much of a techie, so please bare with me. Got WP installed onto my server and plugged into my site but I am having a problem uploading images with new posts. I am getting the following error message:

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/www/markthre/news/wp-content/uploads.
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/www/markthre/news/wp-admin/admin-functions.php:1965) in /home/www/markthre/news/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1348

Could this be a permissions problem with the server?

    Thanks for any help
    Ben

  • Yup, please check the permissions for /wp-content and /upload and make sure they’re writable by the webserver.

Just for reference, this is a much discussed topic. Usually when you get an actual error, it’s always recommended that you drop the error into the search as usually someone else has had the same problem.

    Hope this helps,
