• I just did a clean install of WP3.2.1. via Fantastico in cpanel. This is the same host that I always use. I’ve never had a problem with image uploads until this new install I just did.

When trying to add a gallery to a post I was getting the “http error” in red text.

I tried editing the htaccess w/ several suggested codes from all the threads I could find about this, none of them worked.

I tried having my host set the server to whitelist ^Shockwave Flash. This made the “HTTP Error” stop appearing, however, the image uploader is still not properly functioning.

As it stands now, when I try to add a gallery to a post, I go into the post editor and select the icon for adding a gallery. I select the image I want to add to the gallery. The uploader seems to be working, but then it never shows the “preview” of the image in the uploader. The image shows up in the “media” list, but I can’t get it to appear in the post or as a preview in the uploader.

Forgot to add, I also tried:

Other browsers – FF and IE (currently using Chrome)

Re-uploaded fresh admin and includes folders

    Tested with another theme

All have the same issue present.

I just checked another one of my sites with the same host and it’s working fine on that site. That site is running WP 3.0.4, so it seems it’s an issue with 3.2.1 and not my host.

    Anybody??

I was thinking, it’s possible that it’s still a problem with my host, since the site running 3.0.4 might be on another one of their servers.
