I’m currently using wordpress 3.5 in 2 of my websites. in my photography website, I’m unable to upload images. “an error occurred in the upload. please try again later” pops up. I discovered that even though this error is shown, the file is actually uploaded. I can access the files via “Media Library” in the side bar.

Due to this error, I’m unable to add an image to a post or set featured image. please help at the earliest.

  • This is the second time I’ve seen this issue.

Did you honestly try deactivating ALL of your plugins… manually refreshing your browser cache.. and trying again to see if the issue persists?

its working fine in my other website. thats what I do not understand!

Okay. Then the next step is to switch to the default twentytwelve theme… manually clear the browser cache… and try again.

yes. on theme change, its working. even without clearing the cache.

There you go. It’s an issue with your theme. Can you contact the developer and see if there is an update? Or if they are aware of the incompatibility?

oh God! thats my photography page and even after searching for long, I couldnt find a better theme that I liked. now I’m in trouble.

will contact the developer. thanks for the support Josh

My pleasure. Sorry it’s not a solution you wanted…

(Please mark as resolved since there is nothing more we can do with the theme)

Hey. (I do not speak English) Exactly the same problem. disable plugins tventitvelve and cache did not help …
If you know, what to change and what commands to perform to restore the previous “Media Library” (3.4.2)
    I would appreciate …

    I have same error
