• Hi!
I’m just shocked what this error has come out all of a sudden. My website is hosted with BlueHost and has unlimited storage.

File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

Please help….I’m just stuck on the blog that gives me money to run my family.

One more thing, just a while back, whenever I uploaded an image, it’d crunch which is not happening now. I can’t even upload an image the size of 25kb.

You may visit my blog if it gives you a clue: https://www.successstories.co.in

Same happening with me. Just started like 30 minutes ago. There isn’t even a php.ini file on my host.

Same problem here. Also hosting on BlueHost. Is this a BlueHost problem or a WordPress issue? I’m also having problems selecting post categories.

I don’t think I’ve hit my upload limit. This is happening on three different sites I work on – all hosted on BlueHost.

same issue here, also on bluehost…

have 2 wordpress sites, both with the same issue.

Ditto, I am on Justhost, which is the same company. Sounds like its a bluehost issue. Let me see if my site on Hostgator is doing the same thing…

Well I just verified on 2 sites on Hostgator that things are working perfect on their servers. So to me that narrows it down.

Im using Hostmonster and getting this error as well.

hostmonster is a bluehost subsidiary so the trend seems to continue.

Add me to this php.ini party.
I’m also having issues uploading images via WordPress / Bluehost.

I did get an email earlier today from Bluehost regarding a server performance upgrade which states: “We’re pleased to inform you that the server hosting your website will be undergoing a major software upgrade, from CentOS 5 to CentOS 6, within the next 48 hours.”

I wonder if this is related to the upgrade.

Well I am now able to upload images again. Probably related to an update.

I had this error when I tried uploading a theme from my computer.

    I’m with Bluehost.

    Sorry about being late.

My problem was solved by the tech support guy of BlueHost (He introduced himself as Kevin)

Please do what I did (if you are hosted on BlueHost)

Go to help section and click on the live chat and show them the exact code to them. They solve in less than a minute.

I think the problem is with the host and not with our website. In my case, I have got 5 other websites hosted on the same account and Kevin did not even ask me to send the url of the blog. He just asked for a minute, came back and said fixed ??

Dear all, I’m saying this to you once again. Please visit the live tech support of BlueHost and ask them to fix this as it’s the problem on their part.

My wife runs Success Stories and she did all her bit to fix the issue but nothing worked. We had a long thread on StackOverFlow but for no help.

    Let your host fix it.
