• I have been having this Problem since upgrading
    to 3.8 – 3.9.
Images that I upload to my posts are not
showing, whenever I try to upload any images, I
get an upload error message and when I check
my media library, I will find the image there but
when I try inserting that image into a post, it
    won’t show on the site.
    Any fix?

  • Hiy, I have JPholio 3.9..and when i try to upload images for my scroller, it doesnt upload and i get a grey cover over the upload page…

what is that all about? and how do i get it sorted?

I’m getting the same thing. THIS is why I don’t like how wordpress now automatically updates itself. It’s this latest update that is doing it, I’ve read others having the same problem.

I have the same problem as well. I can upload the images using the Add new in Media and I can see it is there but I cannot add images to page or post.

It would be good if this is solved soon. I have no idea what is happening.

I was able to solve this issue in my case.

I disabled all the plugins and then re-enabled one at a time to find the culprit. In my case, Another WordPress Classified Plugin had to be deactivated and reverted back to previous version. This solved the issue.

    Try troubleshooting with your plugins.

    All the best.

I also faced issue after upgrading to newer WordPress. Update all active plugins to newer version first. It the problem still exists, try using inspect element feature of your browser and see console. You will get to know what script is causing the error.

I hope this will solve your problem.

    Same problem.

I have WordPress 3.9. All was ok until my hosting company upgraded PHP from 5.2 to 5.4 two days ago.

Now I can upload images but I can’t attach them to the posts.

People, if you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic instead of tagging onto someone else’s topic.

@josylad: Do you still have a problem?

@esmi: Why would you need to start up a new thread when everyone is experiencing the same issue.

Wouldn’t that be easier to solve the problem when all with same problem discuss in single thread?

@esmi, Yes. The problem is still there.

These forums have guidelines. Please read them. As you will see, one of these guidelines – entitled Where to Post – specifically states:

Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

    Please abide by this.

    OK Thanks @esmi.

@josylad: Can you paste a copy of the error message here please?

    esmi
as i’m a novice, isnt there a telephone help line where i can explain the problem?

isnt there a telephone help line where i can explain the problem?

Sorry – there isn’t. WordPress is free software and this free, volunteer-staffed forum is the only support resource available via www.remarpro.com. If you are looking for paid 1-to-1 support, please try https://directory.codepoet.com/ or https://jobs.wordpress.net/

If not, please post your own topic.
