• I tried to replace an image on my blog today because a porn site had hyperlinked to a Coyote image on one of my older posts and I didn’t want that image showing on the scraper’s site. I uploaded the image with a different file name and then removed and deleted the old image.

My problem is that the source to the file does not show this month and year, it shows the month and year that the post was published.

https://onthewingphotography.com/wings/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/coyote-lazy-davis-county-utah-mia-mcpherson-6589.jpg I uploaded this file today not in October of 2010.

Why is it not showing todays date like it does in my library?

This is how the code has always worked, actually. Images uploaded get dated based on the post publish date. If there’s no date, it assumes ‘now.’
