• Hi.
    I’ve got an image (specifically, an image of the Facebook like button) and I want to place it in line within a line of text so it’s like “Please click <image here>” for example, but when I insert it, it’s too high and not level with the text. I searched around how to move images within text but it just told me where in the text to put them, not how to align them to be in line with the text. How do I get it so the centre (or bottom) of the image is the same level as the centre (or bottom) of the text?

  • please post alink to a post or page with the problem.

    formatting can generally not be discussed without seeing the site.

    you could try to add a bottom margin of about -4px to the image (?);

    possibly under the ‘advanced settings’ when you edit the image – depending on how you inserted it into the post.

    the facebook also has a 1px transparent edge at the bottom which makes it appear to be higher above the text as the smiley.

    How do you add a bottom margin to the image?

    Wow it seems I was able to fix it. With the TinyMCE Advanced plugin I have, I discovered the area where you can add CSS styles to the text. I typed margin: -5px; and it was perfectly aligned! Thanks!
