Image too big during import

  • Uploaded a zip file with 11 photos, 2.1MB to 3.4MB each, into the depot. All are 3264 x 2448 pixels. During album import each fails with “Image too big” after about 3 seconds.

    I’ve scoured the settings and cannot see an import limitation, PHP post_max_size is 33M, memory_limit is 256M.

    Thoughts on what else to check, fix, do?

    It may be worth mentioning the goal is to allow slideshow/viewing and still have the option for people to download the original size images.

    Untick Table VII-D3: Upload memory check Disable uploading photos that are too large.

    Sometimes the estimated amount of memory needed is wrong. This may help, but if there is indeed not enough memory avaiable, import may fail without a proper errormessage.
