Image thumbnails not showing in Google search after last update

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. There’s no issue with the plugin, as it outputs a property called?primaryImageofPage?in the page’s schema data, a reference-by-ID to a node representing the page’s?featured image. You can confirm that in the?page source.

Whether Google displays the image in the search results is entirely up to Google. Apart from the schema markup for the primaryImage in the schema data, there are other factors (i.e., authority, context, etc.) that Google may consider to decide whether to display an image next to your pages.

Same problem here and it’s definitely Yoast SEO related, likely the 21.9 update. This is absolutely unacceptable, please post an update on the problem or push an update with a rollback.

Hello again,

On our side it’s NOT ONLY the thumbnails but all content for posts and rich snippets.

All review snippets, product pricing, and structured data are no longer displayed in search results even though everything looks fine in Search Console.

Only the meta desc seems to be viewed by Google!

As many others have stated, we are all experiencing this issue ever since we updated to Yoast 21.9

Can you please rollout a fix asap? It is affecting our site traffic and this is clearly an issue with the plugin
