• Dear Fellow WordPress users,

I am a new user of WordPress. I was having an issue with media upload but got this sorted. However, when I uploaded my first image – all thumbnails to that image are missing (broken path) and for some reason my site has now lost the path to the theme / css – so my site is just displaying HTML with no styling.

I’m assuming this is a path issue, but cannot find a solution at all.

I have ‘wp-content/uploads’ in the Store Uploads In This File – within Settings/Media which sorted the upload issue.

I have been experimenting with URLs in ‘Full URL path to files’ but cannot get this sorted.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. My sincere thanks in advance.

    Regards.

Many thanks for your reply esmi.

I don’t have your suggestion as part of my hosting. I have solved it anyway – by reinstalling WordPress and creating a new database. I have absolutely no idea what happened before but so far so good everything is working as it should.

Cannot replicate or understand why it went wrong before.

Many thanks for your advice though esmi – much appreciated.
