Image thumbnail no longer automatically pulled from content

    Hi there,

    I hope you are well.

    The add to any share button plugin has stopped working as intended.

    Previously the share buttons were automatically pulling images from the content and using them for Facebook and Twitter.

    However, for some reason, the Twitter share button is no longer doing this (it’s possible the Facebook share button is also not working properly).

    The thumbnails do work but only if we manually set the thumbnail image for each post within the social tab of Yoast SEO settings.

    Any idea why the Twitter share button is no longer automatically pulling images from each posts content? This would be ideal if the plugin kept doing this.

    Here is an example where we are seeing the problem.

    Hi Max,

    The preview image used on some major networks is determined by the meta tags on pages. You’ll want to troubleshoot with the Yoast SEO plugin since that plugin handles the meta tags on your pages.
