Image tags are disappearing

You should not add img tag. Just put the image URl. it’ll automatically converted to image.
Make sure the image URL is ended with image extension jpg, png, etc…

2. I already have comments on my blog. I expect that when I edit a comment and change nothing, then nothing changes.

Also please keep reading wpDiscuz documentation. This is a large plugin and you should know some important settings and features to configure and use it better:

ok, then you should use some code. WordPress filters img tag. Please read this article and try to enable it: https://www.daggerhart.com/allow-image-html-tags-in-wordpress-comments/

I expect your comment editing feature to work out of the box, like it works in the admin panel. Your plugin has many issues, and I have uninstalled it for now.
