Image Sync creation

  • On our site, we uploaded many photos to the gallery folder which includes many year folders and month subfolders. Images in this folder are between 2-5MB each.

    The folder view looks great in the media folders library however, when I sync them many seemingly unneeded resized images are created. Is there any way to limit how many additional resized images are created per original image?

    WordPress automatically generate thumbnail images. Some of these sizes are required by WordPress. Your theme or plugins may add additional sizes to to the list of thumbnail sizes to generate. The pro version of Media Library Folders has a thumbnail management feature that allows one to prevent some sizes from being generated.
