image submissions no longer sent through email

I updated to the new version of Form Manager about a week ago. I just realized though that when I receive the form submissions, images no longer emailed with the form – The attachment fields are empty.
If I don’t select media type “image” I do receive them as links, but if I select “image” I don’t receive anything in the email. Images though are stored in the database and are visible in the admin interface / submission data – but nothing in the email.
