Image src = old site
-
Hello!
First, thanks for this awesome plugin, it has saved me a lot of time and work and has been proven very useful numerous times.
It’s my first time to encounter this problem, and I’m not sure where did I go wrong. I’ll try to make it brief.
I cloned my website installed on a VPS (dedicated IP) on Apache, and installed the clone on a new VPS (dedi IP) using nginx. Everything works ok except for one thing. The images in the articles were loaded from the old VPS.
So, let’s say my old IP was: xx.xx.xx.xx
New IP: yy.yy.yy.yy
On the new site, the image tries to load the image from the old VPS (and IP), not the new one.
Ex: img src=”https://xx.xx.xx.xx/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/71.png”
instead of “https://yy.yy.yy.yy/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/71.png”
Weird thing is that this didn’t happen for every image, only to about 20%-30% (nothing particular about this ones).Do you have any idea why?
Thank you!
