Image source directory is different on single post sidebar?

On my WP 2.3.3 blog at this LINK I’ve added images to the sidebar and they appear normally at https://www.mysite.com/images/picture1.jpg. However, when I click on a single article post, the images do not appear in the sidebar, but there is a placeholder for them. When I check properties of placeholder it is trying to pull images from https://www.mysite.com/images/2008/picture1.jpg. Where can I fix the 2008 that is being added to image links in the single post sidebar?
